Spring 2009: Moschino Cheap & Chic (MIlan Fashion Week)

Milan Fashion Week just started everyone!



Is there a fashion label more playful, cheeky and whimsical than MOSCHINO CHEAP AND CHIC? I can’t think of any. Rossella Jardini’s Spring collection was no exception.


Gleaming fabrics with washed-out water color prints in bright spring colors is the color scheme throughout the collection. Bows in the shoes and some of the bags added a youth to collection while over sized beanies added a flower-child vibe. There was tie-dye, polka dots, globe prints, bunny prints and butterfly prints. The collection may sound muddled but it was actually pretty cohesive.



There were sequin and lace dresses, tiered dresses, printed tunic dresses, quilted chiffon coat, coral pants and slouchy shorts. As the song in the show goes, it was “FUN, FUN, FUN”.
