Spring 2009: Lanvin (Paris Fashion Week)

Thanks to the voluminous clothes on the LANVIN Spring 2009 collection, Alber Elbaz proves that volume is not only flattering but also chic. Some of the clothes wear made in duchesse satin, leopard-spot print, gazar and cloque. The drapings on dresses were stunning. The structured, almost geometric blue dress did not hit it for me it’s pretty “interesting”.

I loved Lanvin too, though it was quite formal when considering that it is for spring and summer, but Lancin's a huge an old house, and we'll allow anyhing from it.

I love the dresses again. Of all the runway things, I always seem to love the dresses most. Oh, and the eyeliner is simply great.
Alber Elbaz looks so funny (not in a bad way, in a good way).
The earrings are gorgeous too and I like the jewel-studded shoes too.

Thanks from my brother, for wishing him a happy birthday!

I just have seen Lanvin now, and I'm loving it.
The shoes are gorgeous, and the necklaces.
Also some dresses....

I love volume on the runway, though I must confess, I'm a little scared of wearing a lot of volume myself! ;)

And in response to your comment: aw, I know how you feel! I've always felt out of place in my family as well. :( but don't worry dear, I think sometimes we may not find our place in our family, but I believe we all have a place in this world! :)

i think lanvin wasnt that much amazin and intense as two seasons ago !! but alber collections are always very feminine and subtle ! and that's what the people love !

Incredible. The entire collection is perfection: the clothes, the accessories, the hair, the makeup.

Perfection.
