Pre Fall 09: Zac Posen

Konichiwa! First I want to greet everyone belated Happy Holidays. I haven’t blog for a while…a long time, make that 2 months. I have been really busy with school. We just finished our exam so that’s great. I will try to blog more regularly from now on.

Zac Posen is one of my favorite designers and his Pre Fall collection was all glamour. The models paraded in beautifully fitted trumpet skirts, leopard dresses and trenches, knit dresses, fringe dresses and stunning gowns. The collection embodied the 40’s.

But… I think the collection is a bit inconsistent. The color palette doesn’t match and there’s too much elements in the collection. The only binding element is the styling.

Well I loved the collection, and also the background at the show, it's so relaxed and really like in the 40s!
By the way, glad to see that you are back to blogging again.
And my dress... I'd say it is fake velvet, or it would have been more expensive ^^

I can see what you're saying. But I couldn't get past the glamour of it all to notice the inconsistencies. I love all the dresses, but there's something about the pants ensemble... :)

I missed you Tessa!!! Schools been preventing me from posting also. My Holiday was okay, no Christmas spirit roamed in my doors. If I set a new years resolution I might not follow through with it, but my mind is on to trying my best in school. ^_^

I see what you're saying. The problem I saw was the lack of modernity to it...I love a retro collection but I'd like a liitle bit of an update, either in the styling or hair and makeup at least...

I agree that there doesn't seem to be much consistancy colour wise, but I pretty much love every piece!!
